Kinsella’s first ghost story, this British author of rom-com (romantic comedy), is my go-to author after reading something heavy-duty. This one was especially meaningful to me as it peered into how we view old people (ageism) and tend to…

"Twenties Girl" -- I only lasted about an hour with this book. I found it too silly and too annoying. Perhaps better enjoyed by younger women.

The story did seem to stretch out a little longer than what it needed to in spots, but I did overall enjoy it. And of course, everyone likes a happy ending.

I'm not going to lie...this book was a tad slow to start and I absolutely loathed the character of Sadie....at first. This book stole my heart and put the biggest smile on my face! I can picture is as a hilarious rom com full of silly…

My current favorite book. Truly funny with the most touching story. Fleshed out characters - even the ones who don't have flesh. Well crafted. One I want to share with everyone.

This book was a bit slow for me. I found although the story itself was intruiging, it lacked the heightened emotions associated with the climaxes of the novel. There was not enough build up to the excitement. I would have also enjoyed more…

Sophie Kinsella may be best known for her Shopaholic series and Brit Chick Lit, but this story really worked for me and was so enjoyable. The 20's something niece learning about her 20's flapper great aunt and how their stories intertwine…

This is one of my favourite books by Sophie Kinsella. The story strikes a balance between big laughs, frenetic energy, and scenes that are surprisingly poignant and emotional. Very well done.

I like listening to this author's stories at the end of the day in bed. Helps with falling asleep. However this reader, Rosalyn Landor has an annoying voice. It seems to disappear in mid-sentence quite a lot and if you turn up the…

The book is funny and touching at the same time, it also has a very creative storyline. This and Finding Audrey are two of my favorite from Sophie Kinsella

Sophie Kinsella, the name was the only reason I picked up the book. I liked shopoholic series and chic-lit is the best way to beat the winter blues. But, after reading the the summary of the loony plot, I had little expectation from the…

Definitely one of the best books I've ever read! I laughed, I cried, I became sentimental at times. Sadie came alive for me. She hit home for me the fact that the elderly were once young and foolish and lived, laughed, cried, loved and…

A little like Bridget Jones with a twist of ghosts. I almost stopped listening after the first bit as I found it completley annoying but it got much better. Very light, cotton candy listen. Still enjoyable.
