After a weak series four, series five is back on track. Tony Hill is again in top form analysing the crime scene and helping the police.
The show is not for the squeamish, the criminals are psychotic and violent, but Tony’s analysis is what makes the series work.

You`re right, CLARKKM. Why DO the Brits do it SO much better? Even their `prostitutes` look like street-worn, unglamorous women instead of the mini-skirted, fur-coated, leggy `fashion models` of American movies and T.V. Only time we`ve come close to getting it right is the drugged out, psycho hooker in `FORT APACHE, THE BRONX`. PLEASE, ANYONE! Does anybody remember her name? She`s famous and she`s still going strong.

agree, carol is missed & the writings gone down a bit as someone other than the book author is writing, but still worth watching, but i demote from A+ of previous series to a B+. wish they were still making this series!

This series is graphic but very addictive---why do the Brits do it S-O much better!?

It's just not as good without Carol on the show - still better than most of the competition, though. The last episode is the best one.
