I honestly found this book quite boring, and very predictable. Even at the beginning, I had an idea who the kidnapper was and I was correct. Some parts were intriguing, but for the most part, I found myself skipping through many pages to get to a more interesting part. Even though many people have enjoyed this book, it wouldn't be on the top of my list.

stephanie had hear a lot about this @ girls being abducted and one being found dead but she knows that will never happen to her.
her mom has cautioned her many time to all walk by with a friend she going home....
one day coming off the bus, her friend insisted on giving her a ride but stephanie refused and walked home ALONE. when she got near her house she saw a short cut that consisted of wheat and grain and it would've taken her 5 minutes less than the other route, problem: the wheat was bigger than her but she didn't find anything wrong with that.
2 minutes into her walking she is grabbed from behind and is injected by some sort of needle that makes her go to sleep. she then wakes up in a cabin in the middle of nowhere and now its going to take all her strength and knowledge to get back to her family. and it definitely won't be easy

This book was a fast read and overall good. It makes you more aware of yourself and that anything can happen. I thought that the ending was a surprising twist.

Very different from most books I read. Shows an important view on who to trust and to pay attention to detail. Very intense.

Near the town where the main character Stephanie lives, two girls have gone missing. She thinks it can never happen to her, but then it does. No gory details here, but a very interesting plot twist that I didn't see coming. Well written and recommended for tweens.
