In this short novel, the reader gets to see the bond between two sisters be put to the test when a guy enters the picture. They’ve been together forever and it’s interesting to see their relationship with each other change to make room for another. Jackson Pearce has a great writing style and it’s very easy to connect with his characters and feel what they feel. He captures moments perfectly with his words. This is a novel I would definitely read again to enjoy the world of sisters hunting werewolves together.

Very enjoyable, even if I did guess the twist fairly early on (though I was never 100% sure).

Probably one of my favorite "easy" reads. This is the type of book that usually takes only a few hours to get through, and I would recommend for rainy, gloomy days, sick days or when you're feeling. It's an instant, light, mood lifter and is full of badass sisters taking down werewolves - or in this novel's world, fenris. With a cute, light-hearted romance and a feminist view point, this book is an absolute treat. I recommend all of Jackson Pearce's fairytale retellings as they have all been great so far!

Really good and engrossing book. I read it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. The cover looks really cool and I loved the plot of the story. I think I'll be reading more of Jackson Pearce's books in the future.

this is the most love strucken heartbreak ever so sweet so much BETRAYAL

A fun read. Like the twist on Red Riding Hood and company, and especially that the Fenris were one-dimensional, ruthless, unfeeling things. The Fenris lure, deceive and eat girls - especially pretty, flirty ones, it seems - but I don't (thankfully) detect any irritating misogynistic commentary, i.e. girls that dress/act a certain way should expect the wrong kind of attention and not be surprised when they do. Also, this version could make a wicked graphic novel in the style of the cover.
