Summary
Add a SummaryWhen Kristy's mom wastes time, trying to find a babysitter for David Micheal (Kristy's little brother), Kristy has a great idea about a babysitters club! Her friends all think its a great idea! But when she finds out her mom is getting engaged, she doesn't want to babysit Watson's kids!
Kristy had an idea about making a baby-sitting club. She tells her friends about it and they likes the idea. Her friends are Claudia, Mary Anne, and Stacy, but they Stacy is a new friend because she just moved from New York. Kristy didn't like her mom's boyfriend because she just doesn't like him She never wanted to baby-sit his kids. When she baby-sat them one time, she loved them and they loved her too. They didn't want her to go. That teaches a lesson that you shouldn't judge people before you know them. The graphic novel is fun and funny. Enjoy!

Add a CommentI love the babysitters club, and have always loved Sisters by Raina Telgemeier. I have read pretty much all 131 originals in the old series by Mary Anne Martin, so this was lots of fun to read!
Soooooooooo much better than the graphic novel!!!! Better read the originals instead of the graphic novels!!! Anyway, I LOVED this book!!! Totally recommend this book. 😁
I love the babysitter's club!
I just love reading these books, they're on my level😊
I read Ann M. Martin's original novels as a tween and early teen, and they make up some of my fondest childhood memories. I have seen these new editions in my library for a while now and when I finally reached a good pausing point in my huge stack of books, I decided why not intersperse these into it? Relive some of those memories!
This first graphic novel, retelling how the BSC was formed and how the four original girls came together to form the club, was just amazing! The artwork is sensational - some of the characters' expressions made me laugh really hard! - and Telgemeier did an excellent job adapting the original story for this different format.
A delight to read and wonderful in inspiring me to remember my childhood!
This is a very entertaining and fun book to read. I read it in two days!I If I were to choose the original novel or this graphic novel, I would choose this book.
The graphic novel does a great job of adapting this series for the modern reader.
If i was to choose from the original or the graphic book it would be the graphic one
I read this book and it was pretty good! one of my favourite comics books
I love Raina's graphic novels especially SMILE. I loved this one a lot too when I gave BSC a try. Would read it again if I wanted to
