I had previously read two wonderful books by Sheila O'Flanagan: "Someone Special" and "All for You". However, I could not get into "Things We Never Say". The characters were flat and the story didn't grab me at all. I finally quit at page 144, tired of forcing myself to like this book. I was so disappointed. I will still try other books by this author because the first two were just so perfect for me.
