With a beautiful baby daughter and a devoted husband, Detective Lindsay Boxer can safely say that her life has never been better. In fact (for a change), things seem to be going well for all the members of the Women's Murder Club as they gather to celebrate San Francisco Medical Examiner Claire Washburn's birthday. But the party is cut short when Lindsay is called to a gruesome crime scene, where a woman has been murdered in broad daylight. As Lindsay investigates, shocking video footage of another crime surfaces. A video so horrific that it shakes the city to its core. Their faces obscured by masks, the cold blooded criminals on the tape could be anyone-and now all of Lindsay's co-workers are suspects. As a rash of violence sweeps through San Francisco, and public fear and anger grows, Lindsay and her friends must risk their lives in the name of justice-before it's too late.

Detective Lindsay Boxer is enjoying life with her husband, Joe and their daughter Julie. Then Lindsay is called to a murder scene. A women has been stabbed. If that isn't enough to ruin her day, she gets called to a robbery that was done by three men with cop clothing on. While she and her partner are trying to solve the case, she gets threats to not cross the line. Someone doesn't want her to find out who are the dirty cops. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Patterson and Peatro books ok.

I used to really enjoy these books but now they have become slightly boring. I listened to this via audio book. It was so, so. it kept me occupied while house cleaning. The characters have become more annoying over time and even less believable.

James Patterson has written so many books and yet somehow comes up with such compelling page turners! The murder club is back and each has their own part to celebrate by the time the book is almost done. But of course, the end will want you wondering what happens next...

It may do well on it's own,
but as a follow up to all the other murder club novel,
this one falls short.
the characters need new life,
a spark, something.

Other than the 2 very rookie mistakes by highly experienced law enforcement agents, I liked it

Loved the plot, fast-paced & hard to put down, but the ending?? How can they DO that? Now I HAVE to read the next book in the series!
