This was a really good book. It had lots of twists and unexpected things in it. It was really descriptive, and a great book overall!

This is cuter than I was expecting it to be. One of my book clubs chose it and I wasn't thrilled to start it, but it ended up being fun. I love Florence so the setting had something to do with it, as well as that it remind me quite a bit of "Anna and the French Kiss" which I adored.

I enjoyed this story and sighed a happy sigh at its conclusion. A half star off for the caricature of "X." When Lina finally meets him in person, his character seems a bit predictable and over-the-top. Other than that it was the perfect YA romance laced with laugh-out-loud moments and swoony romance. I'm excited to see what this debut YA author (previous adult author) has for us next. When reading the acknowledgements at the end of the book, I was surprised to find out that Jenna Evans Welch is Richard Paul Evans daughter. I guess the romance writing gene has been passed on.

This book is perfect for the summer because it is a fast and lighthearted read with realistic descriptions of Italy. Cute romance and friendship is involved. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Honestly one of the best books I have ever read. The details give you the ability to actually be in Florence, and the layers and textures are beautiful. I couldn't put it down!

I literally love this book so much. I'm going to read it over and over and over again. It has all the best things in one book: Italy, a cute friendship/romance, some drama, and FOOD!!!
