I liked this season better than last season, but maybe not as much as the first. Everything has gotten so crazy, and deaths of major characters happen so often, no wonder some people refer to this show as the teen "Game of Thrones." I think it has much more in common with "Lost" and "Battlestar Gallactica", and am continually impressed with the intricate story lines full of hard choices and gritty characters. I really liked the introduction of the insidious "City of Light" this season, a sort of cultish computer-generated mind religion that starts small and gets crazy really really fast. The series also seems to be getting back to basics by the end of the season- all the kids that have survived are back together by the middle of the season, which was a relief from all the separation that happened last season. In all, an engrossing 16 episodes, and still one of the best shows on television.
