Incredibly well written and thorough biography of an amazing woman.

A beautifully written book about Barbara Bush. I was surprised how icy the relationship was with Nancy who sounded like a bitter, angry woman. Sad! Barbara tried to be gracious even though she was a strong woman. I think they were mistaken about why George was not reelected. It wasn't Perot's fault but the fact that Bush 41 had said repeatedly that there would be no new taxes. Remember "Read my lips...? He also was accused of being "wimpy". Said he was "out of the loop" about the Iran-Contra affair. Still a wonderful book about an amazing person.
