Apollo:"We have trogs! Whee!" *smells Nico's hair*
Nico:"Are you smelling my head?"
A: "Um-"
N:"Could you not? You're getting nose blood all over me."
A: "Sorry." *giggles*
Apollo: "I wish I could give you something to express my thankfulness for our friendship."
Meg: -tries to say something-
Apollo (continues): "However, I realized that would not be adequate. So I will merely say this. If you ever need to talk, I'll be here."
Meg: "Actually, I wouldn't mind a unicorn."
Percy: "I can't wait for college to start, although I will miss my mom's cookies."
Apollo: "I believe I can help with that." -snaps fingers- -plate of Mrs. Jackson's cookies appears, fresh from the oven-

Apollo: "Thank you. Wait. Almost?"

Add a CommentThis is the final Book in Rick Riordan's latest series, The Trials of Apollo. This book has quite the different tone to the previous books, it's a bit more heavy-hearted, though it still has a few of those classic Rick Riordan jokes and references to other books in the series. The book really dives deep into the question: “What does it means to be a human?” as well as Apollo's thoughts about gods and their actions. In the book we meet up again with older characters, as well as a new mythological race, who, in the end, help them attack the Tower of Nero and save New York. The final confrontation is quite the spectacle, but I will not spoil it! I have read these last two chapters four times - they are that good. I would really recommend this book to anyone, with the understanding that yes, the mythology is a bit warped. It is a funny story, spanning three books, and is worth reading at any age. - Laszlo Frank Ban
im so sad! i cant believe this is the last book in the camp half-blood chronicles😫😪
There's going to be a new series, don't you think? With Nico hearing voices and the new prophesy.
This book was amazing ! The whole series itself was amazing from start to end and I enjoyed every single moment of this book. As they say, all great things must come to an end. This series was one to remember with great triumphs and losses mixed together. Rick Riordan definitely hasn't disappointed us and has brought yet another amazing series of demigod action. It's sad to see this series come to an end but I'm glad to have been able to read this book and this whole series as it was arguably the best series he's written. Hopefully we'll get more of the demigod action with that little prophetic teaser at the end. All in all, it was a great book and I recommend everyone to read this series.

An epic and action-packed conclusion to The Trial of Apollo series.
ok but this book was amazing. solangelo was so cute and I loved piper's ending (she's always been my fav character and I'm so happy she found happiness after the stuff that happened in the burning maze). i really hope we get stand alones! 1000000/5 stars I cried so much at the end. my only complaint is that I wish we saw more of percabeth but a great book nonetheless.
ok i read this the day it came out and IT IS BOMB its so good and i love the trogs and there is a crazy twist with pipes and I LOVED IT i i ran around the house screemin its SoOoOoOo GOOD so much solangelo its the best and if you didnt think a clifhanger then you havent been reading ricks books very long but this book is good so now i just half to wait til the pjo and kc shows come out <3 psyla
I read the e-book the day it came out, and I was mostly pleased with the last book in this Trials of Apollo series. There were some parts that I disliked (Piper! No!), but mostly it was a fairly good book. I liked the way Apollo has grown from the first chapter of The Hidden Oracle up to the last chapter in The Tower of Nero.
This is merely speculation on my part, but it is my personal opinion that if Rick Riordan writes more mythology books, his next book/series will be about Nico and Will rescuing Bob the Titan.
I loved the reference to The Kane Chronicles!
*Spoiler* The River Styx twist was satisfactory. I also liked how Zeus was not the one to restore Apollo to Mt. Olympus, and he doesn't know how Apollo got there.
