A realistic look at the violence that shook America's past, this gritty series pays tribute to stoic gangbuster Eliot Ness and his incorruptible treasury agents as they battle organized crime. In this volume, with narcotics the new vice and a major racketeering bill passed in Washington, D.C., Ness and his men are given more power, even in cities other than Chicago.

A superb TV Drama from the late 1950s.

Even though, at times, I thought that Federal Agent, Eliot Ness, and his "untouchable" boys, came across as being just a little too self-righteous for their own good, this 1950's TV Series was still first-rate entertainment all the way.

Well-produced, fast-paced, action-packed, and, yes, quite violent - The Untouchables (authentically depicting Chicago's vicious gangster scene of the 1930's) was one of the best crime shows of its time.

I thought that actor Robert Stack made for a superb Eliot Ness.
