If you like Westerns - This book tells you all about the women who starred in those films and TV shows.

Jan 26, 2018

Impressively compiled by Boyd Magers and Michael Fitzgerald - "Westerns Women" covers the acting careers of 50 women who (at one point) had starred as the leading lady in a Hollywood movie or TV Western in the years from the 1930s to the 1960s.

This enjoyable book of text and stills - Allows these women (who were usually relegated to background dressing) to tell their stories as they worked side-by-side with such macho-man actors as Buck Jones, Tim Holt, Johnny Mack Brown, and Clint Walker, to name but a few.

All-in-all - If you are a fan of Westerns from yesteryear - Then - This well-presented volume is certainly worth checking out.
