As one who is striving to live as sustainable as possible, this movie was a real eye-opener. Why doesnt anyone tell us what REALLY goes on in agriculture and on meat farms? Owning chickens myself (and having 30 fertile eggs ready to hatch next week), I cringed when I saw the living area of meat farms for all of the animals: chickens, cows and pigs. BUT THAT CAN CHANGE! Even though buying local can be more expensive, it was stated that it would create 3 jobs. Whereas the meat mills are trying to lower costs and doing everything in abundance by using machinery. One of my favorite quotes from the movie: "The only thing American's are affraid of is inconvenience." So true!
