Well, darlings - I just finished watching this impressive documentary which was called "Finding Vivian Maier". It was written and directed by John Maloof and Charlie Siskel and it tells the fascinating tale of a woman who lived and died in complete obscurity. It was only through a fluke that Vivian's undiscovered talent for photography became well known and celebrated long after her death. In a way - I'd say that Vivian Maier is something of a stand-in for all of those nameless, faceless people who surround us and live out their lives unnoticed. These are people who live in relative obscurity and (after they are gone) leave but a little mark on the world. Except, in Vivian's case (due to her unique talent), she did leave a mark. And it's one that will be admired and appreciated for generations to come.
