I find this book very interesting. I like both the sense of humor used by Chris and the more scientific point of view of Harry. It is entertaining, informative, and motivating. I laughed until I cried at Chris' description of his first time at spinning class. Who wouldn't be motivated after reading the chapter that tells you even though you may pass a stress test and you think you feel fine you probably are building up plaque, the description of what happens if it builds too much and cracks (a heart attack or stroke), and then what you CAN DO to keep that from happening. It is in YOUR OWN hands to change things. It is exciting to think that you can change a lot of what aging does to us--not the way we look on the outside, but on the inside, which is what really counts. I have read a lot of books about exercise, but I think this has made the most impact. It's not about how you look on the outside. It's about what physically and chemically happens inside your body and how exercise keeps you younger. Best of all--it's doable!! Everyone over 45 (or even younger) should read this book.
